The Appalachian Folk Skunk

I've been making folk music since before I can remember. I grew up with banjos and washboards, Bluegrass bands and front porch pickin' on weekend afternoons. My music is about growing up in a region so misunderstood by so many.
I travel across the US (with a pitstop in Toronto) to bring folk music to furry conventions and share the culture that still lives and thrives in these mountains.

About Me!

Howdy! Thank you so much for being interested in who I am and what I do.My name is Cinnamon, but you'll usually hear me called Cinna! Other names I go by are Newt, Bug, or Pike - my other sonas!I've been in the furry fandom since I was 8 or 9 years old. This fandom has truly helped shape who I am and why community is so important to me as a whole. Cinna is my first ever fullsuit, but I've owned many others before - so you may recognize me as a different critter if it's been a while!I grew up in the heart of central Appalachia, in coal fields and around coal towns most of my life. The region that raised me has also had a significant impact on the person that I am today. Not only does my music focus on the people, experiences, and beauty of the area - but I also hold the culture dear to me for so many reasons.I have two cats, a calico named Banjo and a piebald tabby named Nala. Asking about my cats is a sure way to get me talking, if music isn't your thing!

Other ways to get me talking:

  • WWE

  • Folk Music (Noah Kahan, Caamp, Mumford & Sons, Tophouse)

  • One Direction

  • Minecraft

  • Fortnite

  • Discord

  • Tiktok

  • Bugs

  • American History (Revolutionary Period)

  • Ukulele
